The Sin and Saw filters are a little more exotic than the filters covered so far.   There are some simple practical uses for these filters, similar at lower frequencies to the operation of the clip filters or being used to generate a uniform alpha level to use with subtraction to invert another channel.

At higher frequency settings, these filters can be used to create special effects, buy flipping the filter response repeatedly back and forth through the noise generated transition zones.   Which is easier to understand when seen in the video than it is to describe in words.
